The University Administration continues to monitor TS Harvey.
The greatest threat to the Baton Rouge area is from rainfall that can lead to localized flash flooding. Overall, rain coverage should trail off but the pattern will remain fairly active by seasonable standards. A greater drop in rain production is expected on Thursday and Friday with just scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Be alert to travel conditions in your area. Students, faculty and staff are not expected to endanger themselves to get to campus but you are expected to notify your supervisor or faculty if you determine it is too hazardous to travel.
Please monitor University email, the University homepage, the University Facebook page and myPortal or any further announcements.
The full hurricane response plan is available to all employees and students and can be accessed on the Health and Safety page of the University website.
