The Technology Services Center (TSC) strives to be flexible, innovative and responsive in providing information resources, access, technology and services to a vibrant community. It’s understood that the Our Lady of the Lake College community seeks excellence in teaching, research, administrative and distance learning services in an increasingly competitive and changing environment. It is the ultimate goal of the TSC to provide the best information technology service to facilitate the student experience. This office is committed to providing information, technology, and services to create and nurture a community of learning. In this community, information resources should be ubiquitous and universal, securely available to everyone, at anytime, from anyplace. Programs and services will enhance student and faculty interactions while supporting independent and individual styles of learning.
The Technology Services Center consists of two departments:
Educational Technology – The mission of Educational Technology is to establish OLOL College as learning paradigm college known for its use of evidence-based pedagogies and effective administrative processes that integrate current and emerging technologies to enable and promote distributed learning (mobile, ubiquitous, flexible).
Information Services - The mission of Information Services is to link all business processes, via a portal, fixing an inefficient and aging patchwork of disparate systems supporting major functions such as admissions, financial aid, budgeting, registration, records, fees, deposits, disbursements, advising, degree audit, fundraising, and instruction.
